Sultan Palace in Patna, Bihar
19-September-2023I visited this palatial building one early morning in July 2022. I was out on my morning walk and chanced upon the Sultan Palace. This is a very impressive building and more so as it was constructed around 70 years back and by an individual who is not royal.
Currently, the State Transport Department is run out of this building so its aptly named as ‘Parivahan Bhawan’.
Even though the Sultan Palace is located in a very prominent place in the city, not many people in Patna are aware of it. And the people who see it in passing, have been so used to it that they don’t notice it.
The palace looks gorgeous from every angle. And its a every photographer’s dream. The best time for clicking nice pics is the morning and the late afternoon.
